Preserve

Chad continues to work to preserve the character, safety, and quality of life that make Collierville a quality place to call home. He focuses on respect our history and neighborhoods, and has a strong sense of community

Promote

Chad promotes bringing responsible economic growth to support local businesses, bring opportunities to families, and strengthen the town’s long-term future so that Collierville can grow without losing what makes it unique.

Protect

Chad believes that taxpayers should be protected through transparent leadership, careful budgeting, and accountable decision-making. Public safety, reliable infrastructure, and responsive town services must remain priorities.

Meet Chad

Chad Kelsey is a lifelong Collierville resident, community volunteer, and proven local leader who understands that preserving the town’s character while supporting thoughtful progress is essential. A graduate of Collierville High School, Chad has served his community through participation in Main Street Collierville, the Historic District Commission, Collierville Rotary, Magnolia Cemetery Association, and other local organizations.

Chad’s ongoing commitment to Collierville is rooted in listening to residents, respecting the town’s history, and making practical decisions that will protect Collierville’s legacy while driving it forward. Chad is running for Alderman to bring steady, transparent, and community-focused leadership to Town Hall.

Mission

Central to Chad Kelsey’s mission as alderman is activating currently vacant commercial spaces in Collierville. These vacant storefronts are missed opportunities for jobs, local services, tax revenue, and community connection.

By helping fill these spaces with businesses that meet residents’ needs, Chad will support economic growth, strengthen property values, and keep more local dollars circulating here at home.

Active storefronts also make neighborhoods safer, more welcoming, and more vibrant, while giving residents places to gather, shop, work, and access essential services close to home.

Utilizing buildings and infrastructure we already have also helps reduce sprawl, protect green space, and build a more walkable, efficient community.

I’m running to ensure our town grows the right way, not just the fast way.”

“My years on the Historic District Commission have shown that smart growth requires smart investment, and I will be an Alderman dedicated to being well-informed and committed to what makes Collierville the place we love,” Kelsey said.

“Collierville is more than just a place to live; it is a community built on faith, family, and shared values,” Kelsey said.
